I'm going to review Pahada rose water made with the goodness of roses cultivated at 7000ft. in Joshimath, Uttrakhand. How is it like? The fragrance? Effectiveness?
Before I review Pahada rose water let me tell you...
Why rose water is do important for skincare?
Well, rose water is a natural skin toner. For centuries it has been part of Indian skincare. At the time when the modern day cosmetics were not born, rose water was too essential for skincare. The Indian women used it in homemade face packs with besan, sandalwood, turmeric. Beside this rose water is also used in making Indian sweet dishes& desserts!
Benefits of Rose water:
● Rose water as I mentioned earlier is a natural face toner.
● Rose water maintains skin's PH
● Heals acnes
● Effective on scars
● Reduce skin redness
● Soothes skin
● Even tones skin
● It has antioxidant properties
● Balances skin oil gives a oil free skin look
● You can add it in your skin recipes or just use it as a skin toner after cleansing face.
Pahada rose water
Pahada rose water is chemical and preservatives free as well as alcohol free as mentioned the bottle. It comes in a plastic spray bottle.
It is made from Damask Rose's cultivated at 7000ft. at Joshimath, Uttrakhand.
Composition:
Just 100% pure rose water made with steam distillation process. Here I should also mention that pure rose water is always made from steam distillation process. Steam distillation is the conversion of water vapors into liquid.
Additives :
No additives added as mentioned on bottle.
Preservatives:
No preservatives added
Expiry:
One year from the date of manufacturing. Note that pure steam distilled rose water can last one year without preservatives. I read it online!
Price :
299 for 100ml. And it is worth considering without chemicals and preservatives and made by steam distillation.
Fragrance:
Pure rose water without chemicals should have mild smell like that of Rose's in the garden. The Rose's in our garden doesn't smell strong, they smell mild. If rose water had too strong smell, it means artificial fragrance is added to it which is not good.
Effective?
Well it does the job well. I have highly oily acne prone skin and specially during summers I have too much oil on my face after few hours washing my face. I always dab it with cotton ball and wipe my face. Believe me it just wipe out all the oil and gives refreshing look.
When I was having too much acnes on my face, I just applied it directly or in face pack and got relief from acnes.
I must say I really like it. I have used too many rose water brands but I found no rose water as hood as this one. I really like it.
I must say you can buy it if you are looking for a chemical and preservatives free rose water.
How to use it?
Well you can spray it directly and wipe with tissue or you can leave it if you are at home. It will give soothing effect.
Use it in your face packs whether homemade or branded.
For cleasing effect :
take 2-4 spoons of unadulterated raw milk

Add unadulterated raw milk.
Mix 5-6 drops of Pahada rose water to it.
